What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage and tracking pixels, do much the same job. In this policy, we call them all "cookies".
This policy is part of our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data in general.
How we use them
We use three categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary. The website needs these to work. They remember your cookie choices and your language, and help keep the site secure. They are always on.
- Analytics. Google Analytics 4 and PostHog help us understand how the website and the calculator are used, so we can improve them.
- Advertising. The Meta Pixel helps us measure the results of our ads on Facebook and Instagram and show more relevant ads.
Analytics and advertising cookies are used only after you agree to them, wherever you are.
Your choices
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or open the settings and choose each category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and it does not affect your use of the website or the calculator.
You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Withdrawing your consent stops future use; cookies already saved can be deleted from your browser.

Analytics and advertising tools
- Google Analytics 4. Google tags load only after you accept analytics cookies. We use Google Consent Mode to pass your choice to Google.
- PostHog. Loads only after you accept analytics cookies. It shows us which pages and calculator steps are used, so we can make them clearer.
- Meta Pixel and Conversions API. The Pixel loads only after you accept advertising cookies. If you have accepted, we may also send the same events (for example, "calculator completed") from our server to Meta through the Conversions API. Any contact details sent this way are hashed (converted into an irreversible code) first. If you have not accepted advertising cookies, we send nothing to Meta.
These providers may process data outside the UAE. See "International transfers" in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if we add, remove or change cookies. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If we add a new category of cookies, we will ask for your consent again.
